Howdy partners! The first monthly Codeo competition has drawn to a close, and boy was it a tough call for our judges. All the entrants really pulled it out the bag with our Scratch challenge - the Wild West Scratch Showdown; we'd never seen the likes. Our first winner was a team from Brighton University headed by Jason Paget. They built the mighty High Noon game, which can be experienced here. It's a good ol' shoot the bandit game, with a beautifully animated intro sequence. The team will be coming to our office shortly to claim their prize. Runners up are Jack Prior and Charlie Newman. Jack created a super birds-eye view showdown game, Duel Off, and Charlie sent in his surreal take on Buckaroo. We've been really impressed with the entries, and the interest Codeo has received. A new task is to be announced this week, and we can hardly wait. Thanks to everyone who took on this month's challenge. New to Codeo or not, get your brain cells in gear for the next challenge!
