Codeo Challenge #8: Wild Wild West 2: Return of the Scratch

CODEOh YES! People - we are back! Can you handle the onslaught of cowboy clichés we're gonna be lassooin' yer way? Yer gosh darn tootin' you can. Billy the Kid has done a rip roarin' job of settin' the scene, and it's my job to dish up the bacon. Grab yer hat, pull up yer spurs, and get back on yer horse cowboy, cos a-here we go.... catCountry The first challenge is a return to the golden days of Codeo past. We're dusting off our copy of Scratch, raising it aloft, and shouting the impassioned question....."Who can make us the most truly amazing cowboy related game ever". Scratch was developed at MIT as a way of teaching programming to 8-16 year olds. Bolt bits together, drag stuff around, add in a costume... hey presto, you've got a game. We love it. It’s free and it runs on Mac, Windows and Linux. Read more about it, and download it here. To help this time, we've built up a bumper pack of cowstuff for you to use; feel free to use as many or as little as you need. And of course add your own if you need to. Same rules as last year...you can either send us the .sb file, zipped up, or point us to a webpage displaying your creation (you can get yourself an account on the Scratch site and upload it there). Email your entries to codeo@cogapp.com by the 22nd of November. Don’t forget to tell us your full name, university course and year. More info about the Codeo here. Full terms and conditions here. cowboy_andy Cowboy by Andy Cummins
