Codeo Challenge Number 3 - The Results
Howdy there pardners, welcome to 2009! The festive season is done and dusted and the Codeo Christmas 'n' New Year Special has come to a close. Never fear, Codeo participants started the year in style, exploring the wild and wacky world of Processing to create an image viewer that reacts to sound. Whew.
In the end, we decided that the entry most worthy of the special iPod Touch prize came from Martynas Balandis, a first year Business Information Systems student at Brighton University. Entitled "Laughing Robot of the Night", this fine example of coding cleverness not only boogies to the beat, but also greets you with an appropriate message depending on the time of day.
Also a special mention goes out to the winner of the last challenge Simon Wibberley, who produced the lovely Visual Beat:

Why not take advantage of these long dark nights and be in with a chance of winning £100? Keep your eyes peeled for the next Codeo challenge, due to hit your screens very very soon...

You've got to be in it to win it.
A new challenge is going up real soon, we're looking foward to your entry.
Erm. No offence to Martynas. But that is pretty shockingly bad. It looks like a childs drawing. Plus, I remember that this was meant to be an image viewer? I'm not seeing an image.
If things like that can win, I'm definitely gonna have to enter the next one. I'm just gonna have to disable Wibberz in some way...
(his entry to this looks pretty sweet, but then I'm guessing you can't have the same old guy winning everything)
