High tech meets handcrafted
As you may know if you follow Cogapp on twitter, each Thursday we all pile into a local pub and learn craft skills from our very knowledgeable colleagues! So far we’ve had four-week introductions to knitting, drawing and origami courtesy of Joe, Eleanor and Martin.
Last week it was Kate’s turn to teach us all a thing or two and so the first session of CCCC (Cogapp Craft Club does Crochet) got started. I love creating woolly things so this was right up my street!
I was so inspired by the session that I immediately abandoned my knitaholic tendencies and started crocheting all over the place. The result is that our shiny new iPads now have their very own bespoke cases.

That's really nice. Is this for personal use only? Any plans on selling this on the market? :)
Excellent idea, I've attended a few Build Brighton events and played with some electronics, thread and old clothes I found in the local charity shops. 'Un-wearable wearables' I call them but making, sewing, gluing, stitching et al is strangely therapeutic and gets the ideas flowing...
Keep up the good work :)
Awesome iPad covers!
I hear Steve Jobs is looking for about 1.8 million protectors to go round the iPhone4 - perhaps crocheting is the answer...
