Cogapp delivers Information Architecture for the British Museum
January 2007
Cogapp has successfully delivered the Information Architecture (IA) phase of the British Museums new website.
Due to launch later this year, the British Museum are undertaking a comprehensive re-development of their website. Having developed the broader web strategy in collaboration with the client Cogapp, in partnership with Web Usability Partnership, carried out extensive user and stakeholder research, card sorting and iterative development of the IA, which included five rounds of user-testing.
The outcomes of this project - a site hierarchy, metadata framework, IA strategy and wireframe templates - provide a specification for the website's graphic design which is also being undertaken by Cogapp.
