Sites go live for British Railways Board (Residuary) and the Property Review Group

1 June 2006

Cogapp were commissioned by BRB (Residuary) Ltd (BRBr) – the residuary body of the former British Railways Board - to re-design and re-develop their website to better reflect the Board’s function and activities.

Linked to this project was a design and build for the Property Review Group (PRG), an autonomous body set up by the BRBr to determine whether sites they own should be retained for rail or integrated transport use, offered to the rail industry, devolved administrations or local authorities or released for open market disposal.

Cogapp built the PRG site using Plone, the leading open-source content management system, to allow functions such as the ability for members to view and track consultations online.

John Clarke, Director of Structures, BRBr commented:
We were looking for a company able to work with the Board to develop our websites from inception to final delivery, and Cogapp ably fulfilled this need. They produced functional, attractive, websites that allow us to maintain contact with our industry partners and also reach the wider on-line public. And, speaking personally, I found their approach to be friendly and totally professional.
