Cogapp on Tour
April 2008
Hot on the heels of Over the Air, the mobile and wireless development conference, and Senses Working Overtime, the recent Museums Association event about interactive exhibits, Cogapp is hitting the international road. Next week sees Niki Strange attending MIPTV in Cannes, from the 7th - 11th April, and a contingent of our finest attending Museums and the Web in Montreal from the 9th - 12th (namely Ben Rubinstein, Rachael Rainbow, Colin Jenkinson and Joe Baskerville).
MIPTV is a huge event for those creating, producing, buying, selling, financing and distributing television entertainment across all platforms. Cogapp attended the event last year, building links as part of our engagement with multiplatform and its many possibilities. In 2007 it was attended by over 13,000 delegates from over 100 countries, and similar numbers are expected again. As a key member of Cogapp's multiplatform team, and part of the BBC New Media External Advisory Group, Niki is sure to have an exhausting, but highly worthwhile time.
Museums and the Web, run by Archives and Museum Informatics, is a long-established event addressing the social, cultural, design, technological, economic and organisational issues of culture, science and heritage online. Cogapp has attended the event annually for many years, and is looking forward to meeting up with recent clients such as MoMA, the British Museum and the National Gallery.
Both events will be covered on our blog, so keep an eye out for updates.
