An innovative e-commerce system produced by Cogapp is now online at the National Portrait Gallery's web site.

The system is completely integrated with the rest of the site and works with an online shopping cart.

The innovation is in the handling of the e-commerce facility. This is done by generating orders in the form of an encrypted e-mail. This is more secure, more reliable, less costly and easier to work with than the more common alternative using an online credit card processing bureau.
