Rachael Rainbow appointed Production Director

September 2007

Rachael Rainbow is stepping up at Cogapp. Formerly Head of Production she is now taking over as Production Director. Rachael will lead the development of Cogapp's production department including our growing consultancy and user experience practices.

Rachael's appointment allows her to take over seamlessly from Jason Ryan as he exits to Spannerworks, but it was already decided before Jason's departure on the basis of her outstanding performance leading projects and staff over more than seven years at Cogapp.

Rachael has recently led successful projects at the Home Office, the British Museum and the Border and Immigration Agency. In 2005 she took over Cogapp's flagship ICONS project at a critical period and took it through a very intense period to a successful launch and final sign off.

Alex Morrison, Cogapp's Managing Director, said: 'Rachael has grown in her role at Cogapp and consistently delivered really exceptional results on demanding projects. Her achievement in delivering the ICONS project under very difficult circumstances stands out as one of the best examples of management and leadership we have seen at Cogapp. This is a great moment for her to step up to join the board and help take the company to the next
level.'
