New site for Airborne Assault Museum

December 2007

Cogapp is working with the Airborne Forces Museum, based in Aldershot, on a number of projects including the redesign of their website. The website redesign has been undertaken to reflect and report on the exciting new developments for the museum, which is relocating to Duxford where, in partnership with the Imperial War Museum, it will become known as Airborne Assault.

The museum exists to promote the heritage of The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces, commemorating those who have served in the past, inspiring those who serve now, and informing and interesting the public. The physical archive will be re-housed in one part of the new site, and there will also be innovative multi-media displays presented in the state-of-the-art AirSpace building.

The new website will be crucial to the fundraising campaign the museum is undertaking to support the venture, as visitors are able to donate online. It will also be an important focus point for news and promotion. Cogapp is proud to have worked with the museum, and looks forward to further exciting projects as the development of Airborne Assault gains momentum.

Stephen Cooper, Director of Development at the museum, said: "Many thanks again on a great job. It's good to have moved the website to the 21st century from the Neolithic era."
