Cogapp to develop new Information Architecture for the British Museum website
August 2006Cogapp have won a competitive tender from the British Museum to develop Information Architecture (IA) as part of a wider project to re-develop and re-design the Institutions website.
Working with our preferred user research partners, Web Usability Partnership, we are currently conducting interviews with Museum stakeholders, conducting face-to-face interviews with over forty users and are collecting user feedback via an online survey. Mapping the user and business goals allows a clear definition of the sites' key objectives. The project also involves looking at issues of interoperability and search.
The win is the latest in a line of projects delivering User-Centred IA consultancy and development to high-level clients whose websites address extremely diverse audiences. Most recently, Cogapp worked with the Home Office on the IA for their website re-design, a hugely successful project that resulted in the site being voted clear winner by the Annual Report into Key Government Websites 2006.
