Andy Cummins ~ Programmer

Andy joined Cogapp as Technical Department Intern in August 2006, and now has the role of Programmer. His work most often involves adding new features to existing web sites, fixing bugs, and developing tools for interactive installations. He also maintains and works to improve infrastructure systems such as mail and backup, as well as handling the more advanced Linux administration on our external servers.

Clients he has worked for at Cogapp include the Cleveland Museum of Art, National Portrait Gallery, Land Rover and Letsema. He has also undertaken a solo project for the Victoria & Albert Museum, building a press images upload system with PHP and MySQL.

Andy has a BSC(Hons) in Software Engineering from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Previous to joining Cogapp he worked as a Systems Administrator for a charity in Manchester.

He has recently started learning to play the drums. He also enjoys playing chess and going to gigs.
