What We Do

Information Architecture

Information architecture is the foundation of any interactive design. It defines the interface between the organisation and its customers via the interactive content that connects them.

Ever since the first interactive systems, practitioners have been developing information architecture in one form or another. Recently the industry has begun to converge on a set of best practices, closely connected with the wider practice of
user experience. This improvement in practice has been accompanied by a corresponding increase in awareness of information architecture's importance; to the point where it is now common practice for major projects to include a separately commissioned information architecture component as an early element.

With our history of information heavy public projects, we are at the forefront of this work in our sector. Cogapp has a well established practice in information architecture with skilled practioners and a range of successful case studies for clients including the Home Office, the British Museum, MoMA, the British Library and the Houses of Parliament.
