Mat Walker ~ Producer
As a Producer, Mat works with the rest of the production department to help clients use online and interactive media to achieve their objectives and better serve their intended audiences. He joined Cogapp in October 2007.
Mat has over 10 years commercial IT experience, mainly in the e-learning, web and charity sectors for clients such as British Airways, NatWest, and the DfES. More recently Mat worked at SCIP (Sussex Community Internet Project) and managed the IT support department. During his time at SCIP Mat helped numerous charity and community groups, including Age Concern, MS Society and the Big Issue, with their IT needs.
Mat graduated from the University of Humberside in 1996 with a Degree in Media Production (2:1). He specialised in Multimedia Design, working on interactive CD-ROMs and websites for his final year projects.
Mat set-up and moderates the hugely popular Brighton New Media email discussion list and has been involved with setting up several local new media community events. Mat also enjoys running and is hoping to run in 3 marathons next year.
Mat is a PRINCE2 Certified project manager.
