Prudential Eye
Prudential plc
Cogapp was approached by Prudential Group in early 2006 to create a proposal for a cutting-edge art installation to be housed in their (then) Group Headquarters, Governor's House, London.
The installation needing to be subtle and elegant yet exciting; immersive and engaging but not distracting; to reflect the global nature of the business and to provide a stunning showcase for the Group's ever expanding digital archive.
Our proposal was The Prudential Eye: a massive sheet of clear glass, floating in space, over which a series of beautiful stories would appear. In short a 'magical' storytelling device which would be both surprising - in terms of the physical installation, and familiar - in terms of the stories it would tell and assets it would use.
Our Role
Cogapp took complete control of the project from the initial design stage through to overseeing the physical installation. The graphic designs and the technology to control the display were all created in house.
