Who's Who
Sam Wander ~ Assistant Producer
Sam's role as Assistant Producer has two main facets. As part of the Production Department, he undertakes core project work, such as project management, research, strategy consulting and user experience. He also manages many aspects of communication, both within Cogapp and beyond it. Internally, he aims to aid communication between different teams, and externally, he strives to bridge the small but crucial gap between the creative departments and the company's promotion and marketing team.
Sam initially joined Cogapp in February 2007 as Office Administrator, where he was tasked with running the office, and assisting internal projects. His first year with the company provided invaluable exposure to many aspects of its work, and greatly strengthened his business understanding. He moved into the Assistant Producer role in January 2008.
Sam has worked on projects for the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Arthritis Research Campaign, and the Home Office, amongst others. He also recently helped shape Cogapp's involvement in the Brighton Internship Programme, a Wired Sussex initiative.
He has a BA Honours Degree in Philosophy and Cultural Studies from the University of Sussex, and a B-TEC Diploma in Art Foundation from London Metropolitan University.
Sam helped run 'The Do' club night, which ran successfully for two years. He writes music reviews for Plan B Magazine in his spare time, and is a keen (yet somewhat novice) player of Go.
