Stuart Lamour ~ Assistant Producer
Stuart has a broad-ranging role, which includes facilitating technical aspects of Production department work, user research, statistical analysis, project management, and the technical implementation of graphic design, wireframes and Information Architecture. He is also a well-practiced advisor on web 2.0 media distribution such as blogs, content aggregators, and social networking sites.
Since joining Cogapp in late 2006 he has worked on a multitude of projects. For the British Museum website re-design he modelled a prototype with interactive PHP and AJAX, as well as building initial site component templates with XHTML and CSS. For the Home Office's Immigration and Nationality Directorate he helped undertake extensive user research which included user interviews and reports, card sorting, building wireframes for testing, documenting findings and report writing. He converted Cogapp's pro bono Artguide site from Pearl to PHP and SQL, helped write a research report for the Jewish Museum in New York on museums and web 2.0, and has worked on projects for the National Portrait Gallery, Science Museum, Naked Eye amongst many others. Stuart also customised our own blog, reworking the Wordpress templates with PHP, XHTML and CSS.
Stuart has a BSc in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science from the University of Sussex. In his spare time he enjoys cooking and eating vegan food, jive dancing, and writing for his influential music blog, 20 jazz funk greats.
