Participating in User Testing
We are currently seeking people to undertake occasional user testing sessions for our multimedia products, for example web sites or interactive computer based features for museums or other public institutions.
It is vital that we test our products thoroughly before launching them to ensure they are user friendly and accessible to all users. We find the feedback that we gain from user testing sessions invaluable in the development of our high quality projects. We have a growing database of user testers who we may contact from time to time to take part in testing.
Testing sessions usually take around 45 minutes and involve following a simple set of instructions to test our product. No experience is required; indeed sometimes we need people with very little computer experience to ensure our products are accessible and easy to use for every level of user. These sessions are not intended to test the tester, but to put our productions through their paces. We typically offer a cash fee of £20 for each session. Testing sessions usually take place at our Brighton offices, located in the centre of Brighton near Churchill Square.

We ask for the tester profile information as sometimes we require specific types of testers, or we need to recruit an even range of testers for a product. Your profile information allows us to match testers with relevant projects, so the more information you are able provide the better. If you do not wish to give certain items of information, please leave the relevant field blank. By joining the list there is no obligation to take up any invitations you may receive from us in the future. We also do not guarantee to contact you.
Your details will be added to our user tester database. This database will not be published or offered to any third party. It is for the company's own use only and your information will remain strictly confidential. If you are under 16, your parent or guardian must read the terms and conditions and sign the form on your behalf, please also read them yourself. Your information will be protected according to the Data Protection Act 1998.
