Web Development
Cogapp has been creating websites since 1994.
We have a wealth of experience in creating database-backed sites, and are technology agnostic: we will work with your existing infrastructure to create the best possible solution. Because of this, we have experience of a huge range of client- and server-side systems, from AJAX to Zope, via Actionscript, ASP, C, C++, Java, Javascript, Lingo, Perl, PHP, Plone, Python, Transcript and WebObjects.
We are also happy to work with all sorts of server operating systems (OS X, Windows, and Unix/Linux) and databases including Access, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
We have expertise in many areas, including Content Management, e-Learning and e-Commerce , and have a variety of bespoke tools to help manage the transfer of content online for Online Collections and similar systems.
We relish a challenge, and have created large-scale multilingual and clustered sites, as well as hooking into external programs for such things as postcode lookups, on-the-fly image generation, or rendering site content into PDF format.
Finally, we always carefully consider the needs of our clients, and subject our sites to a battery of tests for usability, accessibility and performance before they go live.
