BBC Jam - People on the Move
BBC Wales
Working closely with the production team at BBC Wales, we employed our creative methodology to research, develop, test and deliver the project.
We started by building on the user research already undertaken by the BBC to produce moodboards and
character treatments which were tested with children to determine the best graphic approach.
We then produced and tested an interactive prototype before specifying the project in detail in terms of its functionality, technical and creative approach. BBC jam had a number of technical strands that were being developed in parallel, so it was important to reach agreement on the specification prior to
starting the build work.
We employed a user-centred approach throughout the project, testing with school children in Essex and North Wales. Working with BBC jam's accessibility specialists, we produced a fully accessible web-based video editing application (Studio M).
