The Children's Society appoints Cogapp for digital redesign
July 2010
Having recently won a competitive contract, we are now redeveloping the main public facing website for The Children's Society, a charity which is committed to making childhood better for all children in the UK.
Like many charities, The Children's Society needs to ensure its new website is an effective fundraising tool. The new website will also be focused on attracting new users and encouraging repeat visits as part of an effort to raise awareness of the charity’s work.
Our redesign will create a more friendly and engaging website for the charity, with a range of social media and interactive tools, such as blogs, forums and social networking feeds. Work is currently underway with launch planned for autumn 2010.
Emma Callagher, Digital Marketing Manager at The Children's Society said: "We selected Cogapp to redevelop our main website as they are clear leaders in the user experience process with the most success in creating really impactful and highly interactive digital sites. Our public-facing web site is a key tool in communicating with all of our audiences and is an essential part of the fundraising process and the support services delivered by The Children's Society."
Alex Morrison, Cogapp’s MD, added: “This is a very exciting project for us, utilising all of our design, user experience and technical knowledge. We are aiming to deliver a substantial return on investment via online fundraising.
“We will initially deliver an extensive user testing and research phase as part of the redesign. This will make sure that what we deliver is as usable and useful as possible. Usability of the new site will be key to generating the best results for The Children’s Society,” Morrison added.
