Codeo returns at University of Brighton Freshers Fair
September 2009
Cogapp's coding competition for local students - Codeo - begins again this autumn, with its return being officially marked at the University of Brighton Freshers Fair on 29th September.
Codeo is reborn as a bi-monthly tech competition, with challenges being posted on the Cogapp blog at the beginning of every other month. Students will also be notified of these challenges by their tutors, as the competition runs in close collaboration with University of Brighton. This allows the challenges to be a fun extra curricular activity for students of all tiers, whilst also being tailored to their course content. The best entry in each challenge will win one hundred pounds, an accolade from (and visit to) Cogapp and possibly even press coverage.
The competition, which began last year, will have its return marked with a kick off Scratch workshop at the Freshers Fair. The session will be run by Joe and Tristan, and will be held in conjunction with the first challenge being launched. Keep an eye on the company blog for more details, and be sure to pop along to the Scratch tutorial if you're at the fair.
