Cogapp celebrates its 25th Birthday today

Founded on the 2nd of December 1985, Cogapp is 25 today. Originally called Cognitive Applications, the company started on campus at the University of Sussex in association with their Cognitive Studies department. It rapidly moved off campus and developed a practice in the emerging field of ‘interactive multimedia’. Since then it has worked with pretty much every technology in the field now known as ‘digital media’ for an international list of world-class clients.

Cogapp’s founder and managing director, Alex Morrison, said ‘This week we’ve seen the launch of our first iPad app, the wonderful Eyewitness Paris for Dorling Kindersley, delivered an innovative web project for HIV/AIDS alliance on World Aids Day and continued to work on a dozen other challenging client projects. I could not be more proud of Cogapp now, 25 years on, or more excited for its future and the future of the technology we work with.’
