Cogapp launches futher apps for Dorling Kindersley
August 2011

We’ve been extremely busy this year and we’re excited to announce the first fruits of our labour are now live in the app store - DK Quick Cook and Rome: DK Eyewitness on iPad.

The DK Quick Cook iPad app is based on DK’s best selling Cook Express book and makes choosing recipes, planning menus, shopping for food and the cooking itself, fast, fun and hassle free. Features of the app include over 500 illustrated recipes, a detailed recipe search and the ability to make a shopping list from the recipes and e-mail straight to your smartphone. Other app functionality includes menu creation and the facility to add on additional packs of recipes to create a larger resource. The app is the perfect addition for any cook, helping you to prepare fresh, simple meals with minimal time and effort required.

The app is priced at £3.99 and is now available from the app store on iPad. Additional recipe packs are priced at 69p for an in-app purchase.

Rome: DK Eyewitness also joins our ever-growing family of DK Eyewitness Travel apps that launched last year. Rome: DK Eyewitness allows you to tap, zoom and swipe your way across the eternal city discovering Rome’s best restaurants, shops and unforgettable sights. The app also features access to offline maps, illustrated walks and GPS enabled DK mapping which allows you to locate yourself on the DK map wherever you may be!

It has been fantastic to continue our flourishing relationship with Dorling Kindersley and bring more of their iconic and inspiring titles to life on the iPad. We hope that people enjoy using them as much as we enjoyed building them.

We’re hard at work building further lifestyle apps for DK this year so watch this space for some exciting new launches.
