Cogapp named One To Watch by NMA in list of Top Interactive Agencies 2010
September 2010
Our hard work was acknowledged today when we were named ‘One To Watch’ in the Top 100 Interactive Agencies 2010 listing by New Media Age (NMA).
The accolade from the UK’s leading trade magazine for interactive media recognises our work in the field of interactive media, particularly with projects for Tate Modern and MoMA.
It highlights our potential to develop substantially by naming us as one of the digital agencies to keep an eye on in the coming 12 months. Other agencies highlighted in previous years include Saatchi & Saatchi London and BBH.
New Media Age said that ‘Cogapp’s USP is user experience with a strong creative edge, well suited to the cultural and public sectors.’
Alex Morrison said the prestigious award was well-deserved. He said: “It’s been an incredible year for Cogapp, with many digital and user-experience projects coming in from the UK and US.
“We’ve expanded our team, all of whom are leaders in their field, and have built on our lead position in the cultural sector with recent campaigns for the British Library and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. We’ve also had the opportunity to extend further into new sectors, including charities with organisations such as The Children’s Society and publishing, with The Sunday Times.’
The expansion has coincided with the arrival of Greg Hadfield as our director of strategic projects. Previously, Hadfield was head of digital development with Telegraph Media Group.
“Greg’s appointment, in particular, has been key to Cogapp’s recent growth. He has driven strategic partnerships, and developed our online publishing expertise.” Morrison said.
“We’re also expecting substantial growth from our iPhone and iPad apps development team, who expect to make some exciting announcements soon.”
