November 2008
Cogapp is delighted to be on the shortlist for two awards in the DiMA:S (Digital Media Awards: South) competition this year. Our design and information architecture work for The British Museum's website re-development has earned us a nomination in the "User Experience" category, while our Kidney Patient Guide has been selected for the "Strongest Community" category.
The DiMA:S, organised by Wired Sussex, Midnight Communications and Sussex Community Internet Project, were established to recognise and reflect the unique and varied nature of digital media in the south of the UK. This year, around 95 companies and individuals submitted over 140 entries to the awards. The panel of judges included Channel 4's Matt Locke, the BBC's Martin Trickey, Managing Director of Digital Media for Endemol, Peter Cowley and the Editor in Chief of trade magazine, New Media Age, Michael Nutley.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on November 27th at All Saint's Church in Hove, which promises to be an exciting and entertaining evening.
