Cogapp is now an official partner of Sitecore, one of the world's leading providers of online engagement and content management software (CMS).

The new partnership was formally announced today.  Meanwhile Cogapp's team of Sitecore Certified Developers (which has been working with the product for nearly two years) is about to deliver one of the most ambitious projects of its kind using Sitecore technology. Details of the project will be disclosed later this year.

Sitecore's software, which powers hundreds of enterprise-level websites around the world, is widely recognised as a potent tool for meeting the needs of online audiences. It helps customer organisations build and maintain all types of dynamic, highly-sophisticated websites.

Alex Morrison, Cogapp’s managing director, said the partnership would strengthen Cogapp’s ability to deliver long-term value to a growing list of clients in the culture, media, sport, charity, government, and commercial sectors across UK, US and European markets.

“We chose Sitecore as the result of an extensive selection process that rightly convinced us of its strength relative to a large field of competitors.  After nearly two years working with Sitecore we are very happy with its capabilities and with its potential to improve our clients online offerings, Alex said.

“Our aim always is to produce work that is well-conceived, beautifully executed and thoroughly engaging. Sitecore is enhancing our ability to fulfil that promise.”

With a focus on flexibility and scalability, Sitecore's feature-rich product range has continually evolved since the company was founded in 2001.

Content management is now at the heart of its wider "customer engagement platform", including an effective digital marketing suite.

As a result, Sitecore now offers:

  • Engagement automation - enabling organisations and businesses to coordinate customer experience across all channels, while integrating with the Sitecore CMS as well as other backend systems such as customer relationship management (CRM) and email;
  • In-line personalisation - offering the opportunity to manage content based on personas and/or business rules, with the ability to conduct multivariate and A/B testing;
  • Engagement analytics - providing an enhanced online marketing suite that helps clients measure "engagement value" and the success of marketing efforts.

Tristan Roddis, head of web development, leads Cogapp’s Sitecore team. “Sitecore is a great platform for developers,” he said. “Its clean separation of content and presentation and the extremely rich API make it very easy to customise, extend and integrate with external systems.”

Laust Sondergaard, chairman of Sitecore UK, looked forward to working closely with Cogapp.

"It is a privilege to welcome Cogapp into our Sitecore partner network. With a team of experienced developers who know Sitecore software inside out, I have no hesitation in recommending them to any organisations and businesses that want to experience to the full the potential of Sitecore solutions."
