Cogapp at UK Museums on the Web 2009
November 2009

The Museums Computer Group's (MCG) annual UK Museums on the Web conference will be part-sponsored by Cogapp this year.

The conference has been a hub of discussion and innovation about the presence of museums online for over 5 years now. This year's gathering will focus on the theme of 'the everyday web: situated, sensory, social', looking at the everyday and ubiquitous experience of online content. It will feature talks from prominent figures in the world of online heritage, including Ross Parry, Chair of the MCG, Matthew Cock, Head of Web at the British Museum, Mia Ridge, Lead Web Developer at the Science Museum, and a keynote speech from Richard Morgan, Technical Manager of V&A Online.

Cogapp will be sponsoring the mid-morning coffee break and you'll find several team members there looking for a chat. Be sure to say hello to Ben, Rachael, Tristan or Joe if you have a ticket to the sold out event. The conference will be at the Hochhauser Auditorium at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London on 2 Dec, so to those of you who have a ticket - see you there.
