Greg Hadfield joins Cogapp as Director of Strategic Projects
January 2010

Greg Hadfield, current head of digital development at Telegraph Media Group, will be joining us on 8th March as Director of Strategic Projects.

Hadfield, who in his role at Telegraph Media Group oversaw their digital development, brings with him vast online and entrepreneurial expertise. A former Sunday Times news editor, he previously founded Soccernet with his son in 1995 (which was sold to ESPN/Disney four years later) and then created and sold Schoolsnet to Hotcourses in 2003. He also founded the Wills Information News Service, supplying national and local media with legacy information and founded AllTogether Technology Ltd, a software development and web services company specialising in social software. At Cogapp he will be working on the development of our new large-scale digital media projects.

Hadfield said: “There are currently tremendous opportunities for all kinds of organisations, from traditional media companies to the most innovative digital enterprises. I am grateful to Cogapp for offering me such an exciting opportunity to help shape the future with colleagues who are among the brightest and the best in the digital business.”

Alex Morrison, MD at Cogapp added: “Greg and Cogapp are both veterans of the digital media business. Together we share a passion for using new technologies to create intelligent and useful digital products. The kind of products that enrich the lives of the people who use them.  We have a roster of opportunities that Greg will be pursuing as soon as he joins us and we’re delighted to be confirming his role at Cogapp, a post created specifically for him.”
