The Jewish Museum website receives enhancement from Cogapp
January 2010

We have recently completed renovation work on the website of The Jewish Museum, New York.

After having originally developed and delivered the site for its launch in 2008, and putting it through extensive user-testing in the process, we went to New York last summer to conduct follow-up testing to see how the site was viewed by users. We got overwhelmingly positive feedback from this - with users finding they were able to do much more than they had expected - but still used the findings to streamline the site and improve the functionality of the online collection even further.

Using information from The Jewish Museum's database, we improved the search-funtion of the site's integrated online collection and focused the pages on the information and graphics users wanted more. With the initial site already being much loved by users, we tweaked it to further increase its usability. The amendments and alterations open up the museums vast and elegant exhibits for users to an even greater extent, giving them unparalleled access to the items they love.
