Junior Programmer joins Cogapp's expanding technical team

Cogapp’s technical department gains a new member this week with the addition of Jairo Kasmierchcki who joins us as a Junior Programmer.
Jairo’s role as a Junior Programmer will see him working on a wide range of Cogapp’s client projects and programming to a high standard of quality and robustness. He also works with the various content management systems Cogapp uses when building websites, such as Drupal, Plone and MODx. He is a competent Java programmer and has knowledge of shell script, C, Python, JSP, HTML and XML.
Prior to joining Cogapp Jairo gained a First class BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Sussex where he learnt a wide range of computer languages. He also worked as a Student Mentor in the Peer-Assisted Learning Scheme that saw him leading informal seminars to support students in courses such as Java Programming and Foundations of Computation. Prior to his degree Jairo worked in 3 different countries and is fluent in Portuguese, English, Italian and competent in Spanish.
