LEARN is a finalist for the Pirelli INTERNETional Award 2002

Cogapp's LEARN project has been nominated as one of five finalists in the Information Communications Technology section of the Pirelli INTERNETional Award 2002.
LEARN, is a multilingual web site for young people interested in science and technology. It aims to inform people about European research into information technology and to encourage young people to consider scientific and technological careers. A collaboration between Cogapp and five European organisations, LEARN is part of the European Commissions Fifth Framework research programme.
The Pirelli INTERNETional Award, established in 1996, is open to all Internet users worldwide, and it has a prize budget of more than 100,000 Euros for the best multimedia works that contribute to the diffusion of scientific and technological culture through the Internet. Over 1,200 works were submitted for the awards and evaluated by an international jury.
