MoMA.Guide nominated for Design Week Award
February 2008
Cogapp is delighted to announce that we have been nominated for a Design Week Award for our work on MoMA.Guide.
MoMA.Guide is a groundbreaking interactive kiosk for the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Multiple kiosks are planned for installation around the museum to help with wayfinding for the museum's visitors and also as a means of displaying MoMA's vast collection virtually, on its 24 inch screen. This is all achieved via an innovative user interface that presents users with an easy to navigate, countinuous journey.
Cogapp's Design Director, Colin Jenkinson, said: "From the outset, our goal was to present users with a unique and intuitive interface that celebrates MoMA's unique collection. Working together with the team at MoMA and Malcolm Garrett we have created a beautiful, fluid information system that enriches the physical museum experience".
The award ceremony will be taking place on Tuesday 4th March at the London Hilton, Park Lane.
