Museum of Modern Art website undergoes user testing
September 2009

We've recently been in New York conducting user testing on the Museum of Modern Art, New York's relaunched website - MoMA.org.

The sessions - conducted over two days in the heart of New York City - focussed on key user journeys through the site. They were conducted to get a full impression of the effectiveness of the website, and the testers were chosen as a cross section of MoMA's target audience, including a diverse range of ages and ethnicities.

The results from the sessions fed into a report that was delivered to MoMA with recommendations about how the website can be made more efficient and intuitive, with some of these recommendations already being implemented by the Cogapp team.

Cogapp built the online collection to designs and specifications produced by MoMA for the new site, which went live earlier this year in April. We also developed the critically acclaimed on-site kiosk installation MoMA.guide which gives visitors unprecedented access to their collection and information about it.
