Thanks to the Wired Sussex Internship Scheme there is another new face in the Cogapp office for the next 6 weeks. Andrea Fallas joins us as our new Production Intern, working on a wide range of projects alongside our Production and User Experience teams. Andrea's responsibilities as a Production Intern will include graphics processing, content creation, creating extranets and also assisting with our user testing sessions.

 

Andrea is about to complete a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Sussex and prior to this she worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. During the course of her studies she developed a passion for science communication and public engagement through interactive and online media and is now looking to shift her career focus to encompass this. Andrea is very interested in new technology and pursues her own hobbies of photography, video editing, Flash and web design and hopes to use her time at Cogapp to gain a valuable insight into working in the digital media industry. 

 

Andrea is the third intern we have had join us since the Wired Sussex Internship Scheme began in 2007. It’s been a highly successful relationship and one we very much look forward to continuing in the future.
