Three consultancy projects for major mobile operator
June 2008
Cogapp has successfully delivered findings for three separate user testing projects commissioned by a major UK mobile operator. The projects were each won individually following a series of competitive tenders.
The first project, completed in early May, saw Cogapp explore the usability and user experience of a proposed multi-channel social networking product. The product, intended to be deployed across both web and mobile interfaces, is in the earliest stages of development. Cogapp worked closely with the client to translate their wireframes into a working prototype that successfully reproduced the rich interactions of the final product.
The second project involved testing prototypes of a new help and support area. Also completed in early May, the findings will help guide the next phases of development for the company's online customer support.
The most recent, and final, project in the series saw Cogapp examine the way users engage with a review section of the operator's website. The operator is keen to encourage greater user generated content, and the project was commissioned to help unravel any potential barriers to user contribution, and factors that may encourage further participation in the future.
