Tristan Roddis to speak at BarCampBrighton 09
August 2009

BarCampBrighton is being sponsored by Cogapp for the third successive year. Tristan Roddis, Cogapp's Head of Web Development, will be attending, continuing a history of Cogapp's participation in the talks.

The event, one of a series of BarCamp 'unconferences' that are held all over the world, aims to inspire creativity and new ideas through sharing and discussions in a series of talks, which are led by the attendees themselves. These attendees - who form a mixture of hackers, web designers, user-experience gurus, digital specialists and experts in every technical niche in between - plan the unconference ad hoc on the days and therefore the exact nature and order of these talks is not revealed until the event itself. This creates a sense of freedom and exploration and helps keep the unconference fresh and exciting.

It is the fourth time that Brighton will be hosting a BarCamp gathering and Tristan will this year be speaking about developing applications for Google's Android platform. the unconference will be held on the weekend of 5th & 6th September at the Old Music Library on Church Street.  Tickets are already almost sold out. And if you're lucky enough to be going, do come over and say hello if you see any friendly Cogapp faces.
