Usability Professionals' Association event to be sponsored by Cogapp

Cogapp are sponsoring an event on UX competency being held by the UK Usability Professionals' Association (UPA) on Thursday 25th February.

The event - which is being hosted by the UPA along with the Chartered Institute for IT (BCS) - will consist of a combination of daytime presentations and workshops, as well as a Careers Fair in the evening. We will be co-sponsoring this Careers Fair, as well as being in attendance at proceedings during the day which will explore UX as a new and exciting area of research, design and employment.

With the UX industry in its currently highly active and flourishing state, organisations are being challenged to find the right people for their teams and projects. As such, the UPA are holding this event to bring those looking for UX roles together with institutions who are putting UX at the forefront of their offering. By uniting job-seekers with companies looking to find high-quality individuals to help strengthen their UX teams, the UPA aims to improve the operations and output of UX organisations, bettering the experience for users and strengthening the industry as a whole.

The event will be held later this month in Covent Garden and is open to anyone, especially UX employers, educators and practitioners.
