User testing conducted on The National Archives website designs
August 2009
We have recently been working with The National Archives to test website prototypes they have created for the site relaunch soon to be implemented on nationalarchives.gov.uk.
Building on work previously conducted by Cogapp, the in-house team at the National Archives created prototypes for the new site. These designs are now undergoing vigorous user testing by the Cogapp team to examine their effectiveness with users of the site. The results of this user testing will feed into the final look of the future National Archives site.
The user testing sessions happened at the in-house Cogapp user testing facility and were observed by staff from both The National Archives and Cogapp. We have worked with The National Archives several times in the past, and this project marks the latest fruitful collaboration between the organisation and our User Experience team.
