National Portrait Gallery
Website Design & Build
About the Project
The previous National Portrait Gallery website, designed by Cogapp eight years ago, required modernising to meet today's climate. They needed an intuitive CMS to better support their web team's workflow, and they also wished to fully integrate their online collection with the main website for a more unified user experience.
We interviewed stakeholders, building on the understanding we had gathered through our fruitful, decade-long relationship. Marrying these findings with our user-centred design process, we delivered a clean, contemporary site that really placed the gallery's exquisite collection at the front and centre, offering a Portrait of the Nation.
