Fay MacDonald
As our Business Development Manager, Fay is constantly on the lookout for our next exciting project. Fay is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building on our existing relationships and promoting Cogapp’s work and business activities to the wider world. She employs her strategic marketing experience and broad communication skills to drive research, develop campaigns and identify new clients, working closely with the internal teams to deliver proposals and pitches.
As an experienced events specialist, Fay also takes a leading role in programming and co-ordinating Cogapp-led events and seminars.
With more than 15 years experience in business development, communications and events, Fay is something of a creative and inspirational beacon within Brighton’s digital community. Most recently, she has worked as a consultant for her own communications company Diosa Media, helping organisations cultivate conversations and communities with and amongst their audiences through social media, online and offline content and engaging events. She is also an active member of Brighton and Hove Chamber of Commerce and with the role of Vice President and Events Chair she has strategic responsibility for delivering over 50 events a year. She can often be found hosting, chairing and speaking at events across business and creative hubs in Brighton.
Fay is passionate about the arts and creative industries, in particular bringing urban and free art to a wider audience. She co-founded Wet Paint Productions in 2009, a contemporary urban art enterprise which offers a range of creative services and interactive events including the annual, free live event ‘The Beautiful and the Canned,’ as part of the Brighton Festival Fringe.
Outside the Cogapp office, you’ll find Fay running 'Diosa Delicious' evenings, her own branded events designed for modern goddesses everywhere, geeking out over Hipstamatic and Instagram iPhone photos and making the most of everything Brighton has to offer.
