Gavin Mallory / Senior Producer
Gavin is an experienced Producer, with responsibilities ranging from managing web and consultancy projects, liaising with clients, creating specification documents and reports, through to developing wireframes, and carrying out contextual research with users and stakeholders. Since joining Cogapp in early 2006, Gavin has worked on a wide variety of projects. He led the development of the Centre for Research and Development website for the University of Brighton, an eLearning project for the Social Care Institute for Excellence, and a string of web projects for Brighton Museum, amongst many others. Most recently, he has been working with our US clients, project managing the new website for the Jewish Museum and working on an online collection for MoMA in New York.
Gavin is a firm believer in user-centred design, and has facilitated user testing sessions for numerous projects, including ICONS, MoMA in New York, the Cleveland Museum of Art, Good Schools Guide International and the BBC.
After facilitating sessions, Gavin draws up results, writes reports, and makes recommendations from the findings. The process is an integral and invaluable part of many of our projects. Gavin began his production career at The Moving Picture Company, working primarily in commercials.
He has a postgraduate diploma in e-learning theory and design, and is a certified PRINCE2 project manager.
Gavin is currently on sabbatical due to return to Cogapp in June 2011.
