Helle Sorensen / Business Manager

Helle joined Cogapp in August 2005 as Business Manager. She is responsible for the business planning process and financial management of the company. The business planning process covers everything from detailed resource and capacity management to long term strategic planning.

She is also responsible for human resources and, with the Deputy Business Manager and the Office Administrator, ensures the Technical, Design and Production teams are supported by focused internal processes.

Helle worked for auditors and accountants Ernst & Young for 6 years before joining one of their clients, a book publishing group in London, as Financial Controller. Her experience also includes being Director of Finance at a not-for-profit Housing Association and Funding & Treasury Manager at Sussex Enterprise. She has also undertaken consultancy projects for a range of clients including Visit Britain and Brighton & Hove City Council. 

Helle is originally from Denmark, and frequently returns for weekends. Her interests include photography and graphic design
