Martin Edwards / Front End Web Developer

As Front End Web Developer, Martin is responsible for converting designs into HTML templates using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This requires liaising closely with the Design Department to ensure their ideas are correctly recreated for the web. He is also responsible for the technical implementation of web accessibility within the company.

Martin has worked on websites for a range of clients including the British Museum, National Portrait Gallery, and the Jewish Museum. For ParaData, as well as converting designs and integrating them into a content management system, he helped build the museum kiosk software. He also built the HTML templates for Cogapp.com.

Recently, Martin has been developing his knowledge of AJAX and exploring its potential for enhancing our work. Martin joined Cogapp in 2005 as an intern during the third year of his degree in Computer Science at the University of Brighton. During his placement he maintained the Home Office Year of the Volunteer website. After graduating he returned permanently as our Front End Web Developer.
