If you would like to become involved in our user testing, please note the following terms and conditions:
(a) Confidentiality
1. We will not pass your contact details on to any third parties.
2. Before we accept you on our list of potential testers you will be required to complete a short tester profile form online. Some anonymised information from this form (but not your full name and contact details) may be passed on to our clients as part of project documentation.
3. You may request to have your details removed at any time by e-mailing usertesting@cogapp.com.
(b) Sessions
1. We cannot guarantee that we will invite you to a testing session as we need to look for people most suitable to particular projects.
2. On attending a testing session you will be offered a fixed cash incentive. In the event of a cancellation we will not be liable for any costs or expenses incurred by you. Please note we do not reimburse travel costs.
3. You consent to the testing session being observed by members of our staff, staff from partner organisations and / or our clients. In addition, the testing session may be recorded on video and / or audio. The recordings and written transcripts of the session may be passed on to our clients, but will be treated as confidential and will only be used for the purposes of research.
4. Please inform us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend a testing session.
The fee will not be payable in the event that you are unable to attend the testing session.
5. As part of your testing session you may see material that is not yet published. Please note that all the material used belongs to Cogapp or our clients and may not be copied or used for any other purpose than the testing session. All material viewed should be treated as confidential.
These terms and conditions aim to meet or exceed the guidelines specified by the Market Research Society.
By registering as a tester with Cogapp you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
