Leadership Developments at Cogapp
February 11, 2022
Cogapp is pleased to announce important changes in the company’s leadership.
Over the last few years, the directors’ responsibilities have been gradually evolving, with Andy Cummins and Tristan Roddis growing into larger roles. Now we are recognising these changes with a formal re-allocation of responsibilities.
Andy will take on the role of Managing Director and Tristan will be our new Technical Director. Louise Cole (currently on maternity leave) will shortly return to lead our Production team as Production Director.
Alex Morrison will take on a new role as Chair. Ben Rubinstein will continue as a Director. These new roles will allow the founders to continue to represent the company at the highest level with clients and third-parties while providing support to the new generation of management.
In order to add further weight to the senior leadership group we are adding one more member. Neil Hawkins has proven himself time and again on projects and his rounded skill-set is a great asset across the business. To afford Neil the space to apply these skills he will be assuming a new role as Deputy Technical Director. Like the rest of the senior team, Neil will continue to work directly on client work alongside his new role.
Commenting on these developments, Alex Morrison said:
“‘This is a big moment for me. I have been Cogapp’s Managing Director for more than thirty years. I’m so pleased to hand over the baton to Andy. It has been my greatest privilege to carry it this far, but it is time to let someone else have a go. We are very blessed to have such a capable person to take it on. Ben and I are as committed as ever to working in, and on, the business. I look forward to supporting Andy and the rest of the Cogapp team in this next phase of the company’s development.’”
Andy Cummins said
““With our talented team and continued support from Alex and Ben, Cogapp couldn’t be better equipped to move into this next phase.”
“We are known for delivering long-term value through creative partnerships with our clients. After 15 years in roles across the company, I’m proud to be able to lead our efforts and continue producing innovative work that helps realise the missions and goals of our clients.”
“Cogapp exists to build a better online world and we will continue to be guided by this principle.””
