Design

The immersion stage is an exploratory period of two to four weeks. We start by getting up to speed with your brand, service, strategy, audiences, and goals. We review existing brand implementations and meet with your team irl.

We are a curious bunch. We listen, probe, make notes, and gain a better understanding of the project during immersion, connecting with our client and the project on a deeper level. Curiosity begets creativity and fuels momentum.

We consider all we’ve learned so far and establish an agreed upon design direction for the project. Initially exploring several potential directions in parallel allows us to push the boundaries of what might be possible for a given project.

As we narrow in on the agreed direction a new, revised or extended design system for the digital platform is created and available as a collaborative and transparent Figma file. This ensures consistency of execution on the project and acts as an organisation-wide document promoting design excellence across the board.

We get to work on designing and building templates for pages and features. We work collaboratively with user experience and technical colleagues throughout the build process ensuring effective execution of our shared vision for design. 

Designs are refined and tweaked in response to user testing, stakeholder feedback and internal design review. We have an exceptional level of design quality assurance pre and post launch—we pride ourselves on this.
