Eddie Obree

Eddie joined the Cogapp development team in 2025. He enjoys developing robust and reliable systems, eking out response and resource efficiencies as well as experimenting with prototypes and proofs of concepts. He has experience in a number of technologies with particular proficiency in C# and Javascript/Typescript.

Eddie started programming in his own time whilst studying for a Biology BSc, hooked by the logic involved and its effect on the environment you create. 

He now has 10 years of software development experience working across a number of industries. Recently coming out of the health tech sector he is excited to explore and contribute his expertise to arts and culture.

In his time at Cogapp so far, he has been a key member of the teams working on National Trust for Scotland projects, The Visual Commentary on Scripture and with Fine Art Museums San Francisco. 

Outside of work, he practices the trumpet, plays tennis and collects records. He was first introduced to Cogapp through an art class connection.
